Councillor Heidi Ektvedt Appointment to the Position of Mayor of Baie-D’Urfé

Baie-D’Urfé, November 11, 2020 - The Town of Baie-D’Urfé is pleased to announce that Ms. Heidi Ektvedt has been elected by acclamation to the position of Mayor for the Town of Baie-D'Urfé. This appointment follows the resignation of Mayor Maria Tutino from her position of mayor one year before the end of her term. Ms. Ektvedt will be sworn in today, November 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. and will officially take office this same day. She will serve as Mayor of this Town until next Municipal Elections to be held November 7, 2021.
We wish Ms. Ektvedt the best of luck in her new role and we invite the Baie-D'Urfé community to show their support throughout her mandate.
