Urban Planning
The role of the Town Planning Department is to plan, manage and control land development. Its responsibilities include applying by-laws related to town planning, nuisances and parking, as well as issuing construction permits and authorization certificates.
By-laws provide a structure for development, increased safety and better quality of life for all citizens. These regulations are designed for the public interest in order to promote optimal harmony within the Town limits.
