Reminder: During the high season, from spring through fall, the Urban Planning Department recommends that applicants allow a minimum of 30 working days, starting from the submission of the application or the receipt of the last document required to complete the file, for the processing of certificate of authorization or projects not subject to PIIA review.
If the project is subject to PIIA review and requires approval from the TPAC, Town Council or the Demolition Committee, applicants should expect a longer timeline of at least three months, as the processing time may vary depending on when the requested additional documents are received.
This timeframe should be taken into consideration before any work begins, and applicants are encouraged to inform their contractor accordingly.
