Parking regulation
Please note that the by-law prohibits parking of over four (4) consecutive hours on Town streets. Fines will be issued to any individual in breach of this by-law.
For special cases, please advise Town Planning Department ahead of time at 514 457-3321 or info-urb@baie-durfe.qc.ca.
As stated in section 6.3 of the Traffic by-law
Restricted parking: A truck cannot park on a public road in the Town unless it is loading or unloading. No vehicle may park for more than four (4) consecutive hours.
Parking motor vehicles on public roads is prohibited during snowfalls of 2.5 cm or over, nor in the six (6) hours following this snowfall.
Drivers of motor vehicles that are transporting handicapped individuals may stop their vehicles to pick up/drop off passengers in any location, regardless of by-laws.
Repairing motor vehicles on the shoulder of a public road is prohibited.
