Construction Work on the Town's Territory

Bus Stop Development – Industrial Sector

Construction work is planned in the industrial sector to allow for the installation of 17 new STM bus stops.

This project is part of the overhaul of the West Island public transit network, in connection with the commissioning of the Anse-à-l’Orme REM station. Bus line 223, which will replace former bus line 219, will serve the industrial sector.

Start of work: May 19, 2026
Duration: Approximately 7 weeks

Work schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Occasional traffic disruptions are expected, including alternating traffic with flaggers.

Bus stop locations

Morgan Street Resurfacing

Resurfacing work is planned on Morgan Street, between Victoria Street and Highway 20, to improve road conditions.

Start of work: August 19, 2026
Duration: Approximately 3 weeks

Access to residences and the shopping centre will be maintained throughout the work, except for short periods during milling and paving operations.

Signage and detour routes will be put in place as required.

Road users are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly.

Reconstruction of the Bike Path connecting Clark-Graham Avenue to the EXO station

 

Construction work is planned to reconstruct the bike path connecting Clark-Graham Avenue to the EXO station in order to improve travel conditions for cyclists and pedestrians.

The project includes the complete reconstruction of the path, the installation of a new lighting system, as well as work aimed at preserving trees.

Start of work: Mid-September 2026
Duration: Approximately 6 weeks

Access to the EXO station will be maintained throughout the work. The schedule may, however, be adjusted due to the coordination required with various partners.

Users are asked to follow the signage installed on site and plan their travel accordingly.
