Emerald Ash Borer Infestation and Tree Restoration Efforts in Baie-D’Urfé

We would like to inform you that due to a major infestation of the emerald ash borer, our city has unfortunately lost all its ash trees. This infestation has resulted in the death of numerous trees, and the City is currently working on their removal.

Drinking water quality – Review and annual report for 2023

Tests were conducted on our territory to evaluate the quality of our drinking water. The results show that Baie-D'Urfé's drinking water quality is very good and respects by far Health Canada's recommendations as the criteria established by the regulation on drinking water quality.

We wish to inform you that, as part of our efforts to protect local biodiversity, a campaign to eliminate invasive vines and buckthorns is currently underway throughout the city. This targeted action aims to eradicate these species before their flowering to prevent the spread of their seeds.

The TPAC, which is made up of 7 members, including 5 residents and 2 elected officials, is tasked with conducting studies and formulating recommendations in the areas of urban planning, zoning, and subdivision.
