Sports facilities project: progress update

The Town is moving forward with its project to develop pickleball and beach volleyball courts.

Council has selected the locations for both future facilities:

  • the pickleball courts will be adjacent to the existing tennis courts;
  • the beach volleyball court will be built at Bertold Park.

Council has also authorized the Administration to submit a grant application to the ministère de l’Éducation to support the project.

Given the timelines associated with the grant application, construction work is planned for spring 2027.
