Cooling Station Open at Town Hall

Due to the high temperatures, the Town of Baie-D'Urfé is making a cooling station available to residents at Town Hall (20410 Lakeshore Road).

Opening Hours

  • Today, July 2: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Tomorrow, July 3: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Residents are welcome to stop by and enjoy a cool, air-conditioned space if they need relief from the heat.

Heat Wave: Access to the Public Pool and Prevention Tips

Due to the exceptional heat forecast this week, the Town of Baie-D'Urfé would like to remind residents to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves from the effects of extreme heat.

To provide residents with a place to cool off, the public pool, located at 20613 Lakeshore Road, will be open for recreational swimming:

  • Wednesday, July 1 to Friday, July 3, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 4, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 5, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Residents must present proof of address upon arrival to access the pool.

In Honour of the Victims of the Montreal Tragedy

Out of respect for the victims of the tragic event that occurred earlier this week in Montreal's Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood, all flags at municipal buildings in Baie-D’Urfé will be lowered to half-mast effective today. They will remain at half-mast until the public ceremony.
