Flags Lowered to Half-Mast in Honour of the Victims of the Wainwright Tragedy

The Town of Baie-D’Urfé has lowered the flags at its municipal buildings to half-mast in honour of the victims of the tragedy that occurred on October 17, 2026, at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright in Alberta.

Mayor Heidi Ektvedt, members of Town Council and the Baie-D’Urfé Administration extend their deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as to everyone affected by this tragic event.

Through this symbolic gesture, the Town wishes to express its solidarity and support during this difficult time.
