Stay Cool During the Heat Wave – Cooling Station Available & Extended Pool Hours

A heat wave is expected over the next few days. To help residents stay cool during this period, the Town of Baie-D’Urfé is putting in place two temporary measures.
 
Cooling Station – Red Barn (Coop side)
A cooling station will be available at the Coop side of the Red Barn (20 609 Lakeshore Road), open from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. on June 23, 24 and 25, for anyone needing a break from the heat in an air-conditioned space.
 
Public Pool – Exceptionally Extended Hours
Free swim will be available at the public pool (20 613 Lakeshore Road) from 1:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., June 23 through June 25. Access is free for residents, with proof of residency required.

Residential Pool Safety Regulations - Compliance required by September 30, 2025

The Government of Québec has amended the Residential Swimming Pool Safety Regulation, removing the exemption previously granted to pools installed before 2010. As a result, all residential pools, regardless of their installation date, must comply with the updated safety standards by September 30, 2025.

Update – Subsidy for Summer Day Camps – Summer 2025

We would like to inform residents that due to an insufficient number of registrations, the Senneville Summer Day Camp has been cancelled for the summer of 2025. 

However, Council is pleased to announce that financial assistance will be granted to Baie-D’Urfé families who register their children in the L’Air en Fête Summer Camp in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue for summer 2025.
