Pavement work - Highway 40 from Baie-D’Urfé to Kirkland

The ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l’Électrification des transports will undertake pavement work on Highway 40 eastbound between Lee avenue in Baie-D’Urfé and boulevard Saint-Charles in Kirkland. Construction work to begin September 17 until mid-November 2018.
Lid of your wheeled bins

It is important to never OVERLOAD your brown bin or your blue bin during pick-up day. The lid MUST be properly closed with no interfering materials to ensure it will be properly emptied.
Culvert or Ditch

Fall is a good time to verify if there is any accumulated dirt and leaves residues at the entrance or exit of the culvert pipe. In addition, make sure to mow the grass shorter in front of the entrance in order to ensure proper water flow in the ditch which comes from surface runoff of the land.
Visit from the Fire Prevention Services

Fire Prevention Services from Station 52 is presently conducting inspection of all homes on Town territory in order to verify smoke detectors and emergency exits according to applicable regulations. You must check to make sure it is working and replace its battery regularly.

Repair work at the Curling club

Repair work will start on Monday, August 6 for the replacement of the refrigeration system at the Curling Club. Work is expected to last from August to October. During this period, the contractor will use a few parking spaces.
By-Law no. 911 – Traffic

Please note that the by-law prohibits parking for more than 4 consecutive hours at all times on Town streets. A municipal inspector has recently been surveying the territory to ensure that this regulation is applied. Please note that a $15 fine applies for any breach of the regulation. For any particular situation or event, please notify the Urban Planning Department in advance at 514 457-3773.

Modifications to By-Law no.969

No person shall perform any landscaping, construction, repair, modification, renovation or demolition work before 7:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and all day on Sunday except for emergency situations.
