West Island Drive-Thru Vaccination Site

As of May 5, 2021, everyone in an eligible age group can make an appointment to receive their first dose at the West Island Drive-Thru Vaccination site located on the grounds of the Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. Please note that a vehicle is required to receive your vaccination (motorcycles are accepted).
John-Weir Park - Pumptrack Trial Installation

There will be a trial placement of a modular pumptrack at John Weir Park in the coming days.
This project is an initiative of the Youth Council. In order to ensure that all the issues related to the installation of this equipment are properly evaluated, Municipal Council decided to conduct a pilot project for the installation of the pumptrack at each of the two sites recommended by the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC) - Morgan Park and John Weir Park. The equipment was installed for a trial period at Morgan Park last summer and will be moved to John-Weir Park in the coming days.
The Town of Baie-D’Urfé Invites its Citizens to Participate in the Strategic Planning Process

We invite citizens to a consultation workshop to be held on Zoom in the form of a webinar, which will take place on May 27, 2021 at 7:00 pm. The workshop will be facilitated by Espace Stratégies, the firm mandated by the Town to develop this strategic plan.
Tree donation program

This spring, the Town will be distributing 250 trees to its residents. A maximum of two (2) trees per home address will be donated for the first 125 applicants. Please note that trees must be planted on your property in Baie-D'Urfé.
Reserve your tree from May 3 to 5 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. by calling 514-457-7604, using the tree description form that will be available starting May 2 in the May News and Views edition as well as on our website.

Reconstruction of Concrete Pavement on Highway 40 Eastbound

As of May 3, 2021, the Ministère des Transports (MTQ) will begin reconstruction work on the eastbound pavement of Highway 40, from Anciens-Combattants Boulevard to Lee Avenue, in addition to opening the service road in the west sector to Pirie Avenue.
COVID-19: Curfew will Return at 9:30 pm as of May 3

Work on the Water Supply System at the Water Treatment Plant in Pointe-Claire

On April 27, 2021, the City of Montreal's Water Supply Department will do maintenance work on the electrical system of the water supply system at the water treatment plant in Pointe-Claire. Please note that in certain sectors of the Town, this intervention may cause pressure drops in the water supply network.
