- John-Weir Park - Pumptrack Trial Installation
John-Weir Park - Pumptrack Trial Installation
Published on May 7, 2021
There will be a trial placement of a modular pumptrack at John Weir Park in the coming days.
This project is an initiative of the Youth Council. In order to ensure that all the issues related to the installation of this equipment are properly evaluated, Municipal Council decided to conduct a pilot project for the installation of the pumptrack at each of the two sites recommended by the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC) - Morgan Park and John Weir Park. The equipment was installed for a trial period at Morgan Park last summer and will be moved to John-Weir Park in the coming days.
Following this second trial and based on citizen feedback, Municipal Council will make the final selection of the pumptrack location this coming fall. If you have any further questions and/or would like to share your comments, please send an email to: info@baie-durfe.qc.ca
