Resurfacing work on a section of Morgan Street

The City of Baie-D’Urfé has awarded a contract to Les Pavages D’Amour to resurface a section of Morgan Street, between Lakeshore Road and Victoria Street. This work will begin Wednesday, August 13, 2025, and will last an estimated 3 weeks.

Update on Residential Pool Safety Regulations

The Town of Baie-D’Urfé wishes to remind all pool owners that they must ensure their installation complies with current provincial safety regulations by September 30, 2025.
These requirements, which apply across Quebec, aim to reduce the risk of accidents—particularly for young children. Compliance depends on various factors, such as the type of pool, the presence of a fence, and access points.
Cleaning and Inspection of Storm Drains on Lakeshore Road

The Town of Baie-D’Urfé has awarded a contract to InspecVision 3D Inc. to clean and inspect the stormwater pipes along Lakeshore Road. This work will begin on Monday, August 4, 2025, and is expected to last for approximately three weeks.

Horticultural Alert – Increased Monitoring for Fire Blight on Fruit Trees

The Town wishes to inform residents that a case of fire blight (Erwinia amylovora) has been observed on pear trees within municipal territory. This highly contagious bacterial disease mainly affects apple trees, pear trees, hawthorns, and other members of the Rosaceae family.

Drone Activity in Baie-D’Urfé

An authorized drone has recently been flying over Baie-D’Urfé as part of a project commissioned by the Town. The aerial images and videos collected will be used to highlight our parks, waterfront, and community spaces, and to support future planning and communications initiatives.
