Bringing Back the Night – Light Pollution Presentation

Step into the fascinating world of the night sky and explore how light pollution is reshaping our environment. In today’s urban lifestyle, much of the Moon’s
and stars’ natural glow has been replaced by artificial lighting. Led by a representative from the Mont Mégantic International Dark Sky Reserve, this presentation will explain the impacts of excessive or poorly adapted lighting—not only on sky visibility but also on wildlife, ecosystems, safety, and health. You’ll leave with practical, easy-to-apply tips for better outdoor lighting practices and ways to reduce our light footprint.

- First Show: 2 to 2:45 p.m.
- Second Show: 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.
Seating is limited—access to the magic shows will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
