Obituary of Heinz Bury

It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Heinz Bury, who was a devoted volunteer for the Towm of Baie-D'Urfé. Our deepest sympathy and condolences go out to his family and friends. In order to honour their wishes, we are sharing with you the obituary of Mr. Heinz Bury.

Town’s Flag at Half-Mast in Honour of Firefighter Pierre Lacroix

To pay tribute to Mr. Pierre Lacroix, a firefighter in the Service de sécurité incendie de Montréal who lost his life during a rescue on the St. Lawrence River Sunday night, the Town of Baie-D'Urfé has lowered the flag at the Fritz Community Centre to half-mast until further notice.
Work on Lakeshore Road and Various Streets Now Complete

Work on Lakeshore Road and various streets is officially complete. In the next few days, the contractor will proceed with some minor corrective work in specific areas at the request of the Town. We would like to thank all residents for their understanding and cooperation throughout the work that began this summer.

New Dock at Bertold Park

The Town of Baie-D'Urfé is pleased to announce that the new dock at Bertold Park is now accessible to all residents as of today until the week of October 18. You will be able to enjoy safe access to the water before the cold weather arrives and the dock will be reinstalled in the spring of 2022.
