Renovation Work to the Whiteside Taylor Centre Portico

A contract was awarded to Les Constructions P.R.V. Inc. at the May 12, 2026 Council meeting for renovation work to the portico of the Whiteside Taylor Centre.

The project aims to improve accessibility and the layout of the building’s main entrance. The work will notably include the installation of an automatic door as well as the integration of a new book return drop box.

These improvements will provide a more functional and user-friendly access point for visitors to the Whiteside Taylor Centre, while modernizing certain components of the building entrance.

The work is expected to be completed by the end of October 2026.
