Important message to the sole owners of an immovable and to the sole occupants of a business establishment and to co-owners and cooccupants of a business establishment non-domiciled in the territory

Any natural person who is not domiciled in Baie-D'Urfé, but who owns an immovable or who has been occupying a business establishment for at least 12 months on May 31, 2022, may apply to have her(his) name added to the electoral list of the Town of Baie-D'Urfé and thus be able to exercise its right to vote in municipal elections.

For this purpose, you only need to send an application to the Town of Baie-D'Urfé before June 12, 2022. If you are more than one owner of the same building in Baie-D'Urfé or more than one business establishment, you must designate from among you, by means of a power of attorney, the person to be entered on the list of electors and send it to the Town of Baie-D'Urfé by June 12, 2022, at the latest in order for that person's name be added on the list.

If the application for entry or the power of attorney is transmitted too late to be taken into account before the deposit of the list, the application will be sent to the board of revisers no later than July 4, 2022, which will considered it as an application for entry or strike off depending on whether or not it is a first application for entry or a first designation.

It is important to remember that to be entered on the list of electors as the owner of an immovable, an occupant of a business establishment or as co-owners or co-occupants of a business establishment in the Town of Baie-D'Urfé, you must be a qualified voter.

An application for entry from an owner of an immovable or occupant of a business establishment not domiciled in the territory or the power of attorney of a co-owner or co-occupant must be made to the Town, to the returning officer.
