The Town of Baie-D'Urfé is looking for citizen volunteers to sit on its Town Planning Advisory Committee (TPAC). The TPAC, which is made up of 7 members, including 5 residents and 2 elected officials, is tasked with conducting studies and formulating recommendations in the areas of urban planning, zoning, and subdivision.
Members appointed to the TPAC serve a two-year term, with the possibility of renewal upon the council’s resolution following their designation.
Requirements for Applicants:
- Must be a resident of the Town.
- Ability to speak and write in French and English to meet the diversity of the community (an asset).
- Must be available on Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Having an interest or expertise in urban planning, environmental science, architecture, construction, law, design, landscaping, or heritage.
We seek residents who are passionate about urban planning and community development and are available to actively participate in monthly meetings.
