Call for candidates – Town Planning Advisory Committee (TPAC)

The Town of Baie-D'Urfé is looking for citizen volunteers to sit on its Town Planning Advisory Committee (TPAC). The committee is made up of 7 members, including 5 residents and two elected officials, and its function is to study and submit opinions and recommendations on urban planning matters to the municipal council.

If you are a resident of Baie-D'Urfé, interested and concerned about your town's urban planning, development, environment and by-laws and are available to participate in monthly meetings, this call is for you!
Citizens who wish to become members and participate in the work of the Town Planning Advisory Committee are invited to apply by providing their name and contact information, the reasons for their interest in this position, their experience in land use planning, if any, and their availability. Training or knowledge in the fields of urban planning, architecture, development and design is an asset, but other relevant experience will also be considered.
Please note that a candidate is ineligible to serve on a committee if his or her employment or direct or indirect interest consists in the fact that he or she is a member, director or officer of a municipal or para-municipal organization, a non-profit organization or an organization or enterprise with which the municipality has or is likely to have contracts, or that a member of his or her family is also a member.
