Come to the Fritz Community Center to see the Vintage Car Show! At this event, you will be able to chat with the owners and learn interesting facts about their vehicles.
Demystifying the Electric Car
Saturday, August 3rd, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Adult activity, bilingual. Presentation on demystifying the electric car and car batteries.
Join us for an engaging presentation on electric cars and batteries, followed by a Q&A session. Learn how electric vehicles can reduce greenhouse gases and why the federal government requires all new light-duty vehicle sales in Canada to be electric or plug-in hybrid by 2035.
Organized by the Environment Advisory Committee.
SPECIAL GUEST: Eddy Zuppel, program leader of Clean and Energy Effi cient Transportation at NRC, will share his extensive knowledge and answer all your questions about the costs, benefi ts, necessary infrastructure, battery recycling, maintenance, and driving range.
This activity will take place at the Fritz Memorial Park (Grey House Parking lot) at 20477, Lakeshore Road, during the Antique Car Show.
