Published on May 6, 2024
COOKING WORKSHOP
June 6 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Fritz Community Centre | Bilingual
Many plants that we think of as “weeds” provide an essential source of food for insects, which play an important role in maintaining biodiversity, a resource that we are constantly depleting due to factors such as pesticide use and habitat loss. However, some of these “weeds” could also become food sources for humans. Join us to explore the many uses of these plants, from being good to eat to possible health benefits.
All citizens are welcome to participate in this free event. Call the Town's Environment Department at 514 457-7604 for more information.
