Surrey West Pathway Resurfacing
Published on May 21, 2026
Town Council awarded a contract at the May 12, 2026 Council meeting to Les Pavages La Cité B.M. Inc. for the resurfacing of the Surrey West pathway, located west of Morgan Street.
The work will aim to improve the overall condition of the pedestrian pathway and will notably include the removal of the existing asphalt, foundation preparation, the addition of gravel shoulders, and the installation of a new asphalt surface.
The pathway will be fully redone between Churchill and Morgan Streets in order to provide a safer, more comfortable, and more durable route for users as well as residents of the Maxwell residence.
The work will help improve the experience of pedestrians while ensuring the long-term durability of this infrastructure used daily by residents in the area.
