Support for the Glenfinnan Arena Renovation and Reopening Project

At the May 12, 2026 Council meeting, a resolution was adopted supporting the Glenfinnan Arena renovation and reopening project submitted by John Abbott College under the Programme d’aide financière aux infrastructures récréatives, sportives et de plein air (PAFIRSPA).

The project aims to restore an important regional sports facility and support access to recreational and sports activities for the community.

Through this resolution, the Town wishes to support the steps being taken to allow the project to benefit from financial assistance from the Ministère de l’Éducation.
