Resignation of Councilor Nicolas Drouin

On May 2, 2022, Mayor Heidi Ektvedt regretfully received a letter of resignation from Councilor Nicolas Drouin, which was sent to elected officials and to the Town Clerk. 

Councilor position 1 will be added to the by-election that will be called in the coming weeks to fill positions 1 and 3 currently vacant.   

Council will have to make a decision to assign the responsibilities that Councilor Drouin had to another member of Council to ensure continuity of operations. 

The Mayor would like to thank Councilor Drouin for his brief but considerable contribution to Council and to the citizens of Baie-D'Urfé.
