Pickleball Court Project – Update

Following the September 8, 2026 Council meeting, the Town of Baie-D’Urfé informs residents that the project to build new pickleball courts near the tennis courts has been cancelled.

This decision follows the findings of the acoustic study conducted to assess the project’s potential noise impacts on neighbouring properties. The study showed that, even with acoustic panels to reduce noise impacts, the anticipated noise level would exceed the Town’s standards.

In light of these findings, Council has decided not to proceed with the pickleball court project.

The Town thanks residents for their interest and understanding throughout this process.
