- Launching of the docks and installation of the boom at Bertold Park
Launching of the docks and installation of the boom at Bertold Park
Published on May 11, 2022
Good news, summer is here! The Town will be launching the Bertold Park docks this Friday.
On May 20, 2022, we will then temporarily install the booms (floating buoys) and open the fences to allow water access to the dog park.
Once the MELCC* restriction period is lifted in early August, we will install the new floating fence and move the boom system accordingly.
*In order to ensure the protection of spawning, egg incubation and larval fish mobility, the Ministère de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques (MELCC) prohibits us from undertaking any work to install the floating fence with anchors in fish habitat before August 1, 2022.
