These sneaky organisms move into our natural spaces and take over, crowding out our native species. Come learn to identify some of the common ones, and learn what we can do to reduce their numbers and replace them with native species.

Susan Hawker, a Baie-D’Urfé resident since 1992, is a retired elementary school teacher with a B.Sc. in Environmental Biology from McGill. Active in recycling, conservation, biodiversity, and other environmental initiatives for over 50 years, she has been a dedicated member of the Baie-D’Urfé Environmental Advisory Committee since 2022.
