Inspection of fire hydrants and flushing of the aqueduct network

Please be advised that as of September 9, 2024, Simo Management, Inc., mandated by the Town of Baie-D’Urfé, will inspect fire hydrants and flush the aqueduct network in the residential area.

This annual procedure ensures that our fire hydrants operate correctly and helps clear sediments from underground pipes. Flushing and inspection also help to maintain proper operating pressure for fighting fires.

After the flushing is complete, you may notice that your water is slightly red. This is normal and not dangerous. Simply run your water until it is clear again.
