Happy Retirement, Claude and Richard!

Published on October 28, 2026

The Town of Baie-D’Urfé wishes Claude Therrien and Richard Bergeron a wonderful retirement! Both joined our Public Works team in 1989, contributing nearly 37 years of service each.

Over the years, Richard stood out for his reliability, dedication and willingness to help. Always ready to lend a hand, he was someone his colleagues could count on.

Claude brought many skills to the Town, including his expertise as a heavy equipment operator and welder. Generous with his time and knowledge, he helped new employees learn the ropes and shared his experience, while bringing his good humour to team gatherings.

Both also served as volunteer firefighters for the Town, another meaningful contribution to our community.

Thank you, Claude and Richard, for your hard work, your friendship and your many years with us. We wish you a retirement filled with exciting plans and plenty of time for the things you enjoy!
