- Flushing and inspection of our fire hydrants in the residential sector and our Industrial Park
Flushing and inspection of our fire hydrants in the residential sector and our Industrial Park
Published on April 6, 2021
Please be advised that we will be proceeding with the flushing and inspection of our fire hydrants in the Industrial Park in the night of April 10 and in the residential sector from April 12 to 30, 2021.
This procedure is done annually to make sure our fire hydrants work properly and also to help clear sediments from the underground pipes. Flushing and inspection also help to ensure proper operating pressure for fighting fires.
After the flushing is complete, you may notice that your water is slightly red. This is normal and it is not dangerous. All you have to do is run your water until it is clear again.
Thank you for your cooperation.
