Flushing and inspection of fire hydrants in the Residential sector

Important Notice

Please be advised that we will be proceeding with the flushing and inspection of fire hydrants in the Residential sector from Monday, October 7 to Tuesday, October 15 from 7 am to 5 pm.

This procedure is done annually to make sure our fire hydrants work properly and also to help clear sediments from the underground pipes. Flushing and inspection also help to ensure proper operating pressure for fighting fires.

After the flushing is complete, you may notice that your water is slightly colored. This is normal and it is not dangerous. All you have to do is run your water until it is clear again.
