End of the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) mobile collection
Published on April 2, 2026
The Town would like to inform you of a change regarding Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection.
Following a decision by the Montreal agglomeration, the mobile HHW collection service is no longer offered.
What this means for you
Residents must now bring their household hazardous waste to one of the Montreal agglomeration ecocentres.
The most convenient locations for Baie-D’Urfé residents are:
- LaSalle
- Saint-Laurent
These facilities accept a wide range of materials, including paints, solvents, used oils, batteries, electronic products and other household hazardous materials.
Some services remain available in Baie-D’Urfé
On May 23, 2026, the Town will continue to offer:
- electronics collection
- tire collection
- document shredding services
Residents are encouraged to verify accepted materials before visiting to avoid unnecessary trips.
For any questions, please contact the Environment Department at environnement@baie-durfe.qc.ca
Thank you for your cooperation.
