Call for a citizen volunteer– Town Planning Advisory Committee (TPAC)

The Town is now seeking one (1) citizen volunteer to serve on the committee in order to replace one member who has resigned.
Mandate
The Town Planning Advisory Committee (TPAC), carries out studies and makes recommendations regarding the future development of the Town, at the request of Council. From time to time, Council mandates the committee to review parts of the “Planning By-Laws” (Zoning, Subdivision, Building, Permits and Certificates, etc.) The committee is also responsible for making recommendations to Council on Site Planning and Architectural Integration Program (SPAIP) applications, as well as requests for minor exemptions.
Appointments are generally for a two-year term, and may be renewed.
If you are willing to help by serving on this committee, please send an email to Philip Iacovone, Director of Town planning at piacovone@baie-durfe.qc.ca before April 12, by mentioning “TPAC” in the subject line and indicating why you are interested. Also, please provide information about your skills, education, and experience.
