By-election 2022 - Candidates

The municipal by-election is coming up! If you want to put your talents and skills to work for your municipality, if you like to work for the common good, if you want to represent the interests of citizens and participate in decision-making, you have what it takes to run.
For all citizens wishing to run as a candidate in the July 17, 2022 municipal by-election, the period to file a nomination is from June 3 to June 17, 2022.
The following seats are open for candidates:
- Candidate for the seat of councillor 1;
- Candidate for the seat of councillor 3.

Candidate kits are available online or at Town Hall located at 20410 Lakeshore Rd. Baie-D'Urfé, Quebec, H9X 1P7.
The canditate kits include the following documents:
Form - Nomination Paper Form (SM-29)
Handbook - Running in a municipal election (DGE-1054)
Guide for candidates - Elections in municipalities with a population of less than 5,000 (DGE-1038.1)

- Election Period Begins
Friday, June 3 to Friday, June 17, 2022, 4:30 p.m.
- Filing period for nomination papers
Sunday, July 10, 2022, noon to 8:00 p.m.
- Advance polling day
Sunday, July 17, 2022, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
