Composting 101 – How NOT to Use Your Brown Bin!
Thursday, March 20, 2025 | 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Learn more about composting at home and discover how to make the most of it year-round! Composting is nature’s way of recycling—one of the most powerful actions we can take to reduce weekly garbage, fight climate change, and build healthy soil. Join us to learnabout 4-season composting and the difference you can make!
HOSTED BY:
Robert Brown, a Baie-D’Urfé resident since 1998, is an avid composter and Certified Master Composter. A former member of the Baie-D’Urfé Environment Committee (2008–2011), he initiated the planting of the “milkweed patch” near Stafford, which grew over 200 milkweed plants. He’s also a founding and active member of The Garden at Fritz.
The activity will take place at the Red Barn. It is free and bilingual.
