As you know, owning a dog comes with responsibilities. For one, you must register your dog with the town.
The cost of a dog licence, valid during the life of the animal, is set at $20. When purchasing a licence and upon presentation of proof, the following discounts apply:
- for a spayed or neutered dog: $5;
- for a microchipped or tattooed dog: $5.
We try to keep our list of registered dogs as up-to-date as possible, but we need your help to do so. Recently, we’ve changed the format of the registration form so that it now includes:
An emergency contact
Spayed/neutered status
Microchip/tattoo information
A recent photo of your dog
An e-mail address (optional)
You can update your file by visiting Town Hall or by downloading the form.
If your dog has passed away, we are sorry for your loss. Please take a moment to inform the town and specify the tag number in your correspondance.
